Jessica Bilz

 

Jessica joined the Flames organization in 2016 as coach of a newly formed 12U team. She has been actively involved in the Flames organization, arranging team outings and running the Flames Practice Facility.

In addition to providing pitching instruction for softball players from all over the area, she is the Varsity Assistant Coach and JV Coach for Decatur High School.

Jessica is a left-handed pitcher who grew up in Tallahassee, Florida. She attended Lincoln High School and was a Varsity four-year letterman. She recorded a 18-9 record her senior year with a 0.42 ERA and 272 strikeouts. She threw her first perfect game as a sophomore at Lincoln High. Jessica played for the East Cobb Bullets Gold team from 2002-2003 and had a full ride to the University of Southern Mississippi, a major Division 1 school in Conference USA. In her first game as a freshman in 2004, Jessica threw her team’s first no-hitter.
