Megan Light


Megan Light joined the Flames Organization in 2016 as coach of a 14U team. Her team began the fall playing “B” tournaments, but improved at such a a rapid pace, they won a Gold Bracket tournament by the middle of the spring season.

Success is nothing new to Megan. During her four years at Emory University she received many accolades, including:

  • The 2014 Marion Luther Brittain award, the highest honor at Emory
  • Top 10 finalist for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award
  • Capital One Division III Academic All-American of the Year
  • Named to the first team in the All-University Athletic Association (four times)
  • All-American and named as the Conference’s Most Outstanding Player (three times)
